Short version: fakesmilestore.com sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser’s local storage to remember your cart and currency, and a couple of third-party services we rely on may set their own cookies. Here’s the full picture.
1. Summary
Because we don’t use non-essential cookies, you won’t see a cookie banner on this site. Everything we store is needed for the shop to work.
2. Cookies vs. local storage
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device that are sent back to the server with every request. Local storage is a similar browser feature, but the data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers automatically — only the page you’re viewing can read it. FakeSmile uses local storage, not first-party cookies.
3. What we store in your browser

None of these identify you across other websites, and none are used for advertising.
4. Third-party services
- Nomba (payments): when you pay, you’re taken to Nomba’s secure checkout page, which may set its own strictly-necessary cookies to complete the transaction and prevent fraud. See nomba.com for their policy.
- Google Fonts: loads our typeface (Poppins). Google may log the request but does not set cookies through the Fonts service.
- ipapi.co & exchange-rate API: single requests to detect your country and fetch the day’s exchange rate. No cookies are set.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or any other analytics or advertising tracker on this site.
5. Managing or clearing stored data
You can clear local storage at any time from your browser’s settings (usually under “Clear browsing data” → “Cookies and site data”). Doing so empties your cart, resets your currency preference and removes your on-device order history — your actual orders with us are unaffected and can be confirmed by email. The “Clear History” button on the Orders page removes the order list only.
6. Changes
If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we’ll update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
